With a proven track record of supporting services to get from inadequate to good, we are here to support you on a journey to excellence. We are skilled at putting together improvement plans which are easily embedded into practice, which work and which result in positive outcomes for children. We know how to meet compliance notices, and have extensive knowledge of the SCCIF, children’s homes regulations plus the Fostering National Minimum Standards framework. We can deliver keeping children safe in education audits and reviews, with extensive experience having worked with designated safeguarding leads both in residential and special schools.

Areas we cover include:

Safeguarding reviews and investigations: deep dives after safeguarding concerns have been identified or if there are concerns about a setting; or HR investigations where safeguarding concerns have potentially arisen
Development plans: through reviews with senior leaders, managers and teams providing support to embed good or outstanding practice
Thematic reviews: by undertaking reviews into the quality assurance systems as well as the direct practice delivered to children and young people where there are concerns regarding exploitation, allegations, complaints or other safeguarding matters
Getting to 'Good' in your Ofsted inspection: either by a mock Ofsted inspection and feedback report or a full deep dive and action plan. Explore what you are doing well and how you can improve
Alternative education reviews: where care is provided on site, Residential Special Schools or other settings; 2-day reviews or mock inspections using the SCCIF and Keeping Children Safe in Education
Consultancy: practical support as well as coaching and mentoring when setting up new services, expanding the service or when development is needed to ensure settings are safe and that children receive good care
Coaching: supporting senior leaders, managers and team in understanding and implementing new practices so as to drive improvement in the quality of care being provided to children and young people
Development of direct work plans: with children and young people to improve outcomes.
Trauma informed practice solutions: through coaching, supervisions and practical support to teams
Research into practice solutions: developing paperwork and quality assurance systems which implement the most up to date research into keeping children safe
Strategic leadership training: through reviews, mock inspections, coaching and supervisions
